A random letter is drawn from the host's chosen difficulty pool — 🟢 Easy, ⚡ Standard, or 🔥 Hard — or players secretly nominate a letter and one is chosen from the pool, keeping everyone guessing.
Type an answer for every category — all must start with the round's letter. The clock is ticking. Hit Submit early to lock in your answers.
All answers are revealed. Flag anything that seems wrong and the group votes. Points are awarded automatically once the round is settled.
Spot a dodgy answer on the review screen? Hit Flag to challenge it. Everyone except the answer's owner gets 30 seconds to vote 👍 valid or 👎 invalid. The majority wins — the host breaks ties and can override any decision at any time.
Submit early. Locking your answers before time's up lets you see how many others have submitted — and saves you from last-minute panic.
Go obscure. Weird-but-valid answers score just as much as obvious ones. If nobody else writes the same thing, you get full points.
In Pick mode, be sneaky. Your letter nomination is secret — pick one that's easy for you and hard for the rest of the room.
Hosts set the difficulty. Choose 🟢 Easy for a family-friendly letter pool, ⚡ Standard for the full range minus the really tricky ones, or 🔥 Hard to unlock Q, X, Z and everything in between.
For five popular categories — Country, Animal, Fruit, Colour, and Sport — the review screen shows a small hint next to each answer. A ✓ Recognised tick means the answer matched our curated list; ⚠️ Not recognised means it didn't. These hints guide discussion — they're not final rulings. The group vote and host override always have the last say.

Letter Frenzy does not require you to create an account. Player names and game data are temporary and not stored beyond the duration of a game session.
All content, design, and code associated with Letter Frenzy is the property of its creator. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
Letter Frenzy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Game at any time without notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Game after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Letter Frenzy is designed with privacy in mind. We do not require accounts, do not collect personal data, and do not run advertising. This policy explains what limited data is processed when you play.
We do not collect, store, or process:
When you play, temporary data (your chosen player name, answers, and scores) is passed through Supabase Realtime to synchronise gameplay between players in the same room. This data is not persisted to a database after your game session ends and is not associated with any personal identity.
Letter Frenzy uses browser local storage only to remember lightweight preferences such as your sound settings within a session. No tracking cookies are set. No third-party advertising or analytics scripts are loaded.
The Game is hosted on Netlify and uses Supabase for real-time multiplayer communication. Both services operate under their own privacy policies. No personal data is shared with any advertising networks or data brokers.
Letter Frenzy does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13. Because no personal data is collected at all, the Game is safe for family use.
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Game constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
